Whisker test report
Due
to the legislation in the EU, electronic components for certain
applications may not contain lead (Pb) after 1st of July 2006. In order
to meet the requirements, Evox Rifa has already changed the coating on the
connection wires and, for paper capacitors also the end-spraying alloy. In
this report we have used the testing requirements of one customer and it
should be sufficient to show that the whisker formation is within the
limits.

| Voltage and Agency Markings on Agency Approved RFI
Capacitors Answers the following
questions:
- Why are the agency marks missing from RFI capacitors with
agency approvals?
- Why are there two rated voltages on some capacitors?
- My high-line voltage is 263VAC but Evox Rifa recommended a
capacitor approved at 250VAC. Is this correct?
